These replica guitars are crafted of layers of fused glass, including their glass strings.
I hand cut or saw each piece of glass to the desired shape, cutting more than 60 pieces
of glass for some of the guitars. Each piece of glass is arranged, fit, then kiln-fused
to varying temperatures up to a maximum of 1450°F. Creating each guitar requires multiple
fusing sessions and a total of about 40 hours of kiln time. Occassionally small
details are achieved using metal, metal leaf, glass paint, and/or a clear coat.
